Unpoetry is an art project. It is a curated performance series. These two are separate ideas but exist wholly in one space. Unpoetry has brought people in and held them sweetly and caused friction and pushed people out. It has challenged host and audience. It has created conversation. It has become a place where artists can be seen and acknowledged and find other like minded peers.

The point is to give artists access to audience and peers, as well as give them consistent stage time to hone their practice.
